Day
1: Galveston, TX |

Kim
and Scott boarding the Rhapsody of the Seas
|
On Sunday we embarked on a 7 day vacation
away from home, work, and of course the kids. On our cruise ship
we found access to food buffets, pools, room service, gourmet
dining, and a stateroom attendant who would clean our room twice
a day. We were so excited we dropped the boys off Saturday night,
and Samantha couldn’t wait to start her vacation of 7 nights
of sleepovers with her friends. |

Day
2: At Sea |
On Monday, we celebrated
my birthday. This year was the birthday that never ended –
it was awesome. We had a Meet & Mingle with a group of people
we chatted online with before the cruise and Scott had them
all sing to me. It was great to put a face to the people Scott
had been communicating with. Plus now we didn’t feel alone
on this huge ship.
We spent the day exploring the ship and finding the best food
and views. Later that night we got all dressed up for dinner
in our formal attire. Then we had some fun in the casino, and
even later we went dancing. There were activities going on all
day long, and it didn’t stop until way after midnight.

Day
3: At Sea
| Even though we stayed up late the night before,
we got up early for the sunrise. We had another busy day of swimming,
exercising, and of course eating. We didn’t take many pictures
this day because it was just a day of relaxing and doing nothing.
